Vivek Oberoi state what he and his wife Priyanka Alva fight about, how they make up: ‘She just wants my love and time’

Vivek Oberoi, who did not believe in serious relationships at a certain point in his life, fell in love with his now-wife Priyanka Alva after meeting her for the first time. The two then got married in 2010 and are now parents to two children. Now, after more than 14 years of their marriage, Vivek has revealed what they both fight about.
In an interview with India TV, the actor revealed that he and his wife fight over time. He said, “I am very lucky. I must have done something really good or maybe it is my parents’ blessing that I have got such a wonderful wife. We only fight over time. My wife doesn’t want diamonds, fancy bags or cars, she just wants my love and time. She wants to spend quality time with our kids and family. I am quite a workaholic, and I am trying to balance things, but I have so much work that I can’t stop myself. Also, I am a perfectionist and a committed person, I give my best in all my work. So, I tell people one thing, if your wife is fighting with you for your time, you are extremely lucky.”
Revealing how he cheers up his wife after every fight, Vivek Oberoi said, “When my wife is upset, I wake up before her. She is South Indian, she loves coffee. I have learnt how to make her favourite filter coffee, and I make it to perfection. I take it to her on a decorated tray, play nice music, and wake her up. It brings a light smile on her face. When she takes the first sip of it, she says ‘I am still angry with you’, by the time she takes the last sip of her coffee, her anger disappears.”
Earlier, in an interview with Curly Tales, Vivek Oberoi revealed, “I didn’t want to get married, I was partying. I didn’t want to be in any serious relationship. It’s too much stress, too many complications. I was satisfying my father’s spirit with my nieces and nephews. So, I was thinking why get married. My mother said, ‘Meet this one girl, meet her and if she doesn’t like you, you refuse, after that I will never tell you to meet anyone else but this one.’”
He further added, “I had planned to meet her in the afternoon. I thought, I will meet her as a formality, I will catch the flight and come back home. One thing happened after another, I realised I missed my flight. And then I stayed for two-three more days because I didn’t want to leave. I fell in love with her in the first 2 hours itself. It was like love at first sight.”
The actor, who is based in Dubai for his business, is all set to return to the big screen with the fourth film of Masti, along with Riteish Deshmukh and Aftab Shivdasani.
