Cricketers and film celebrities join rooftop celebration after the couple’s intimate wedding ceremony
Actor Kritika Kamra and television presenter-actor Gaurav Kapur got married in an intimate ceremony in Mumbai on March 11, surrounded by close friends and family members. The wedding took place at their home in Bandra, followed by a lively rooftop celebration attended by several celebrities.
Videos from the wedding celebrations have surfaced on social media, showing guests enjoying the party and dancing with the newlyweds. In one clip, cricketers Yuvraj Singh and Virender Sehwag are seen dancing alongside actor Farhan Akhtar and Angad Bedi to the popular song Forever by Chris Brown.
The guests also joined the couple as they made their entry into the rooftop party after the wedding ceremony. Kritika and Gaurav were seen smiling and holding hands as they walked into the celebration before joining their friends on the dance floor.
A day after the wedding, Soha Ali Khan shared inside pictures from the ceremony on social media. The photos showed the couple dancing with friends and posing for group pictures. For the wedding, Kritika wore a traditional red saree, while Gaurav chose a cream-and-gold outfit. The bridesmaids were dressed in matching cream-and-gold kasavu sarees.
Several celebrities from the film and sports industries attended the celebration, including Malaika Arora, Neha Dhupia, Amrita Arora, Ashish Nehra, Masaba Gupta, Ajit Agarkar, Zaheer Khan and Sagarika Ghatge.
After the ceremony, the couple briefly posed for photographers before returning inside the venue. A small traditional pooja was also performed during the wedding rituals.
Kritika Kamra is known for popular television shows such as Kitani Mohabbat Hai, Kuch Toh Log Kahenge and Reporters. She has also appeared in projects like Bheed and the series Bambai Meri Jaan.
Meanwhile, Gaurav Kapur is widely known as the host and creator of the popular YouTube talk show Breakfast with Champions, where he interviews well-known cricketers and sports personalities.
