After impressing everyone with her directorial debut ‘Dhobi Ghat’ in 2011, Kiran Rao is all set with his next ‘Laapataa Ladies’. Her ex-husband Aamir Khan produced this film.
The teaser of the film was attached to ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ and was slated to release on March 3. However, the release has now been delayed. Although the filming was completed in the first quarter of 2022, the makers are taking time with post-production and other aspects. A new release date will be announced soon, as per the reports Bollywood Hungama.
The report also added that Aamir is committed to the film with Kiran. Both are going through the feedback they got from the focus screening and are also working on the marketing side. ‘Laapataa Ladies’ is not a typical mainstream film. There has been a change in the behavior of cinema after the pandemic. But Aamir and his team are working to ensure that they promote their work in a way that entices audiences to watch it in cinemas.
