Abhishek Bachchan Commends Aishwarya Rai’s Parenting, Reveals Daughter Aaradhya Stays Away from Social Media and Phones

Actor Abhishek Bachchan has opened up about his daughter Aaradhya Bachchan’s upbringing, revealing that the 13-year-old is not on social media and does not own a mobile phone. In a recent interview, the actor credited his wife, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, for playing a pivotal role in shaping their daughter’s grounded lifestyle.

Speaking candidly during a promotional interaction for his latest film Kaalidhar Laapata, Abhishek praised Aishwarya’s dedication as a mother. “I have to give the credit of everything entirely to her mother. I have the liberty to go out and make my movies, but Aishwarya does the heavy lifting with Aaradhya. She is amazing. Selfless,” he said, highlighting the sacrifices and commitment involved in parenting.

Abhishek emphasized that Aaradhya, despite being part of one of Bollywood’s most prominent families, has been raised with strong values and a sense of conscientiousness. “She is not on any social media, doesn’t have a phone also. I think she is brought up to be a very conscientious girl and that’s also a testimony to her individually,” he noted, adding that she is “turning out to be a wonderful little lady” and remains the “pride and joy of the family”.

Reflecting on the importance of family, the actor shared a nostalgic moment from the night Aaradhya was born and expressed how returning to a happy and healthy home remains his greatest source of fulfillment.

The revelation comes amid ongoing speculation about the couple’s personal life, which Abhishek addressed indirectly by reaffirming the strength of their family bond. He also voiced concern over the impact of online gossip, urging greater sensitivity in public discourse.

Abhishek’s remarks offer a rare glimpse into the Bachchan family’s private life and underscore their commitment to shielding their daughter from the pressures of digital exposure in an increasingly connected world.
