Bollywood actors Abhishek Bachchan and Arjun Kapoor had a fun conversation at an awards show recently.
Abhishek Bachchan received the Best Actor award at the Shoshaa Reel Awards 2025 for his performance in the film I Want To Talk. However, what caught people’s attention more than the award was the fun conversation between the Be Happy actor and Arjun Kapoor at the awards ceremony.
After receiving the honour at the event, Abhishek Bachchan thanked I Want To Talk director Shoojit Sircar, his co-stars and crew.
He said, “This is my first Best Actor award. I want to thank the esteemed jury – it is an honour for me that you thought me worthy of this award. But the credit for this performance goes entirely to Shoojit (Sirkar) da. He has made such a wonderful film. I want to share it with his amazing daughters Ahalya and Pearl in the film, who were absolutely brilliant.
They made me look good in the film. To my fellow actors and producers in this room: your work inspires me, and I respect you all. Please keep doing what you do. You inspire me to wake up every morning and try to be the best version of myself.”
Things got lighter when Arjun Kapoor asked Abhishek Bachchan a question in a funny way. He asked, “Kaun hai woh insaan jo jab kehat hai, ‘Abhishek, main baat karna chahta hun,’ toh aap stress me aa jaate hai? (Whose ‘I want to talk to you’ call gives you stress?)”
Abhishek quipped, “You haven’t got married yet… when you will, you will have an answer,” leaving the audience laughing.
Abhishek Bachchan, who is married to Aishwarya Rai Bachchan for over 17 years, said, “When you get a call from the Mrs. and she says, ‘I want to talk,’ you know you are in trouble, yes!”
