Actress Yami Gautam claims that the “out of sight, out of mind” philosophy pushed her towards making conventional decisions even though she began her experience in the movies with clarity about the types of characters she would want to portray. The actor, who was born in Himachal Pradesh, made her acting debut in 2012 with “Vicky Donor” before going on to star in movies like “Badlapur” and “Kaabil”. In the interim, she appeared in a few traditional heroine parts, but after the 2019 films “Uri: The Surgical Strike” and “Bala,” she claims that things really started to turn for the better.
