Ayushmann Khurrana took to social media to announce the release date of his much-anticipated film, An Action Hero. Along with a first-look poster with a blur effect, he said the film will hit theaters on December 2.
Ayushmann Khurrana rolled the tables during the London shoot of the action hero in March. Directed by Anand L Rai, the film is touted to be a slick actioner with an offbeat satirical touch of humor. Apart from being an action hero, Jaideep Ahlawat also acted.
Announcing its launch date, Ayushmann wrote on Instagram, “Stay in the blur till 2nd of December 2022 (sic).”
Ayushmann Khurrana talks about what attracted him to action heroes. He said, “I without a doubt cherished the script of An Action Hero instantly. It’s zany, it’s fresh, it’s disruptive and it has all the trappings of cinema that I have come to be known for.”
The movie is produced by Anand L Rai’s Color Yellow Productions and Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar’s T-Series.
Apart from Action Hero, Ayushmann Khurrana has several videos. He will be seen in Anubhav Sinha’s socio-political thriller Anek. The movie is slated to release on May 27 Apart from Ayushmann, Dr. G is in the pipeline along with Rakul Preet Singh The movie marks the directorial debut of Anurag Kashyap’s sister Bheet Kashyap and also stars Shefali Shah.
