Actor Chrisann Pereira was released from Sharjah jail. She was arrested on a drug charge and has been in jail since April 1 after two men, Anthony Paul and Robbie, pleaded guilty. The pair convinced Chrisaan to go to the UAE to audition for a web series and give her a trophy which was supposed to be a prop for the audition but was actually a drug.
Chrisann was arrested in Sharjah and jailed for possession of drugs. However, the Mumbai Crime Branch told Anthony Paul and Ravi and then their rivals in Sharjah that Chrisann was a victim and not an accomplice in the drug trade.
