Actors, politicians and fans welcome Mammootty’s return to films: ‘Your strength and determination is inspiring’

Malayalam superstar Mammootty’s return to cinema has been hailed by fans and friends alike.

Malayalam megastar Mammootty is set to make a comeback in a big way after a short turbulent hiatus. He had reportedly stepped away from the limelight due to health-related physiotherapy, with some reports suggesting he was taking a break for cancer treatment. On Tuesday, much to fans’ relief, several fans across Kerala welcomed Mammootty’s return to films with a fervent welcome.

Mammootty’s longtime collaborator George shared a photo of the actor holding hands and wrote, “With eyes full of joy, I stand before you with folded hands. To those who prayed for me, kept sharing with me, and told me nothing would go wrong – thank you my friend, with infinite love.” Sharing a photo with the superstar, CPM leader John Brittas wrote on Instagram: “Dear Mylukka, your strength and purpose is inspiring! We are extremely happy to see you back, and hope you inspire us with many more ancient philosophies, charms and leadership to come. With love ❤️ JB.”

Producer Anto Joseph posted, “The prayers of countless people across the world have been heard. Skill, skill, skill, God.”

Actor Mohanlal, who will be sharing screen space with Mylukka in Mahesh Narayanan’s upcoming film Patriot, shared a candid photo of the two with a heartwarming message.

Rathina PT, who directed Mylukka’s film ‘Puzhu’, posted a photo of him with her, captioned: “Double OK.”

Senior actress Maila Parvathy wrote on Facebook: “There is no bigger news than this. Mylukka has fully recovered.”

Mammootty’s Upcoming Projects

With Patriot starting its shoot this September and Kalaamkaval having a kick date, all eyes are now on Mammootty as he is working extensively in preparation for a strong return.
