Sandeepa shared a prolonged notice on Instagram with pics of her Kashmir home. She shared how the film reminded her of all that took place with her household in Kashmir. “As I watched the equal demanding scene in Kashmir Files it shook my core as this is actually my own story! My grandmother died, ready to return to her home, her land, her ‘Panun kashir’ (my Kashmir). This film has been like a punch in the intestine for me. It’s been tons worse for my parents. My family is experiencing PTSD from having to relive it. this is the most vital story that took too lengthy to be told.
