The trailer of Anurag Basu-directed Metro in Dino was released in Mumbai on Wednesday. At the grand trailer launch event of the film in Mumbai, the actors opened up about the learnings they have learnt from love. Aditya Roy Kapur shared his opinion on the words used to describe relationships, and Sara Ali Khan also shared that she doesn’t believe in such a thing as ‘situationship’.

Aditya and Sara shared their opinion on words like situationship, benching, breadcrumbing. Aditya said, “I don’t even understand what the word situationship means, I’m old school in that way.” Sara added, “Everyone has their own meaning, but I don’t believe in situationship or anything else.”

Aditya also spoke on red flags and green flags in relationships and said, “For me, the red flag would be someone who has a jail record. If they come to your hall with a suitcase, it could be a problem.

And for me, the green flag is someone being kind. It’s important because if you’re planning to meet someone for a long time and get caught in all kinds of situations, but if they’re kind, it’s a green flag.”

Fatima Sana Shaikh jokingly told Screen, “Bahot dard diya hai pyaar ne.” Konkona Sen Sharma said, “You have to be ready for risk. Life is uncertain, you have to embrace it. It’s just like the box office.”

Sara Ali Khan said, “Sometimes, I struggle to go with the flow, and like Konkona ma’am said, you just have to go in the dark and hope for the best.” Sharing her opinion about love, Neena Gupta said, “I am quite old, yet I don’t know what love is.

The only kind of love I know is the love between a parent and a child.” Director Anurag Basu remembered late actor Irrfan Khan and singer KK during the event.

He said, “Actually, the whole film is a tribute to both KK and Irrfan. We all miss them. I was just telling Bhushan ji today that KK complemented Pritam’s compositions beautifully.

KK has sung in all my films, so obviously I miss him.” Metro in Dino also stars Pankaj Tripathi, Anupam Kher and Ali Fazal in lead roles. The film is set to release on July 4.
