Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar took a break from his busy schedule to appreciate his talented mother-in-law, Dimple Kapadia.
On Saturday, the overwhelmed ‘Laxmii’ star took to Twitter to share his ‘proud son-in-law’ moment after director Christopher Nolan penned a heart-warming note to the ‘Bobby’ star, praising her exceptional performance in his directorial ‘Tenet’.
The espionage-thriller, which released theatrically in India on Friday, marks the Hollywood debut of Kapadia. The actor is married to Kapadia’s actor-daughter Twinkle Khanna.
With the tweet, the 53-year-old actor shared two images, showing Nolan with Kapadia in one and the film-maker’s note in the other.
Akshay Kumar tweeted, “Here’s my proud son-in-law moment! #ChristopherNolan pens a heartfelt note to #DimpleKapadia on the eve of their release.Had I been in her place,I wouldn’t have been able to move in awe but having watched her working her magic in #Tenet,I couldn’t be more happy and proud of Ma.”
