On Monday, Alia Bhatt and Rekha graced the red carpet of Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival. Both the actresses looked stunning in their elegant sarees.
Alia’s saree was embellished with intricate floral thread embroidery, sequin work, and a gold patti border, which she draped in the traditional style. Her matching blouse featured a plunging neckline, half sleeves with sheer panels, thread embroidery, and a cropped length.
On the other hand, Rekha looked glamorous as ever in her beige silk saree, which featured a broad golden patti border and a floral design. She wore her signature six yards in traditional style and paired it with a round-neck gold blouse.
Meanwhile, Alia Bhatt earned the Best Actress award for her role as Gangubai Kathiawadi’s main protagonist, while Rekha also earned a special award for her “outstanding contribution” to the Indian film industry.
