Amitabh Bachchan completes work on Rajinikanth-starrer Vettaiyaan: ‘But sometimes there is disappointment…’

Amitabh Bachchan opens up about his last day on the sets of Tamil film Vettaiyaan starring Rajinikanth in the lead role. Megastar Amitabh Bachchan says he has completed shooting for Tamil film Vettaiyaan starring Rajinikanth. The film is directed by Jai Bheem fame TJ Gnanavel and backed by Lyca Productions.

Amitabh Bachchan, who previous worked with Rajinikanth in the 1991 film Hum, shared and inform on the project on his personal blog on Saturday. Another day at work is over and for me this project is also over but never the dissatisfaction of a doubt, when in reflection, whether the work was done with satisfaction and what was the opportunity to do another will try to do it again and maybe improve the previous one.

“Sometimes there is an apprehension that the production or the director will not give you a second chance but as you remember at night, it haunts you, and you start wondering so a request and a promise has been made that there is hope. That the opportunity will be given again and improvements will be made.” but let us see (sic)” the 81-year-old wrote along with a series of pictures from the film’s sets in Mumbai.

Vettaiyaan, an entertainer with a message, is Rajinikanth’s 170th feature film. It also stars Fahadh Faasil, Ritika Singh, Rana Daggubati, Dushara Vijayan, and Manju Warrier in lead roles. Anirudh Ravichander is close to compose the music for the film produced by A Subaskaran of Lyca Productions.
