Earlier this week, Remo D’Souza was hospitalised after suffering from a heart attack. Since then, social media has been flooding ‘get with well’ soon messages for the director, from his fans and the people who have worked with him. Amidst all this, Amitabh Bachhchan took to his Twitter handle to pen a heartfelt note for the choreographer-director.
Amitabh shared a video posted by his fan. In the video, Remo was heard praising Big B while speaking to a group of dancers on the sets of the dancing reality show ‘Dance Plus’, which Remo judged. He said that there is no one above Amitabh Bachchan, but they actually reminded Remo of Bachchan senior.
Bachchan shared the video on his verified Twitter handle and wrote, “get well Remo .. prayers !! and thank you for your wishes.” For the uninformed, Remo, also a director, has not worked with Amitabh Bachchan in his career so far.
Earlier, Nora Fatehi, who has worked with Remo in Street Dancer 3D, penned a special note for him on her Instagram story. Her note read as, “Thank god you are recovering! You gave us a scare! Our prayers are with you and your family, sir! So glad to hear you are safe! Let’s stay positive please pray for the entire family.”
On Friday evening, sources close to Remo’s family told PTI, “He had a heart attack. There was a blockage. For now, doctors have done angiography and he is currently in the ICU. He’s stable now and under observation.”
