On Friday, actress Angira Dhar and ‘Love Per Square Foot’ director Anand Tiwari took to their social media handles to announce their wedding.
Alongside a beautiful photo from the wedding ceremony, actor-director Anand wrote, “On 30-04-21 Angira and I sealed our friendship into a marriage, with our family, closest friends and God as our witness. With life slowly unlocking around us, we wanted to unlock this happiness with you (sic).”
Angira also shared a couple of pictures from their wedding ceremony, wherein in one of the photos Angira and Anand are holding hands and smiling as they are being welcomed. While Angira chose to wear a red saree on her D-day, with gold jewelry.
Anand wore a sherwani to compliment his wife. Their wedding post came as a surprise for many celebs and soon after congratulatory wishes poured in for Anand and Angira on the post. Celebs like Ananya Panday, Ayushmann Khurrana, Konkona Sen Sharma, Mitali Palkar, Adah Sharma, Neha Dhupia, Gajraj Rao and others congratulated the couple in the comment section of the post.
Meanwhile, Anand Tiwari is known for starring in films like ‘Go Goa Gone’, ‘Aisha’ and ‘Chhapaak’, while ‘Bandish Bandit’ was Anand’s last directorial outing. On the other hand, Angira, who made her debut in Bollywood with ‘Love Per Square Foot’ in 2018, has been consciously resisting similar romcoms to avoid being stereotyped. She went on to do an actioner, ‘Commando 3’ and is currently shooting for a legal drama, ‘May Day’ which is directed by Ajay Devgn and also starring Amitabh Bachchan. Angira plays a lawyer in the film.
