Happy anniversary, Milind Soman and Ankita Konwar. It’s been three years since the couple had a dreamy ‘barefoot wedding’ in Spain. On their anniversary, Milind and Ankita, who are miles apart currently, selected some of the best and adorable pictures of themselves to wish each other on social media. “Happy 3rd anniversary Ankita. Miss you every moment, you crazy thing. #love,” wrote Milind sharing some loved-up photos of himself and his wife.
In her post, Ankita defined her and Milind Soman’s relationship in the best way possible. She wrote: “Every day is an adventure, a new anniversary of something and another Valentine’s day with you. 3 years since we had our magical wedding in that little forest in Spain, barefoot, in front of a waterfall. Being with you is like experiencing magic, firsthand! You’re the water to my earth. Shaping me, nurturing me, growing with me. I’m grateful for this bond we share, every single living minute. Always and forever.”
At the time of their marriage, Milind was 52, while Ankita was 26. He told Times Now, “Both of us said that we are not interested in marriage and it is rubbish. My married life is wonderful. I am happy that I got married. I didn’t want to. The first time that we met, which was 7 years ago. Both of us talked about marriage on our first date in fact. We don’t want to get married. After about four years of dating, we realised it is a good idea as we wanted to be together. Her parents were keen to take the next step. I am happy to have taken that decision.”
According to Hindustan Times reports, the actor told Ankita ‘When I fell in love with you, I fell in love with all of you: even the part that carries the burden of your past. So don’t be afraid. We’re in this together.’ They eventually got to know each other and dated for four years until they tied the knot in 2018.
