Sushant Singh Rajput’s sudden demise has left his close ones shattered after he committed suicide on June 14 at his Bandra residence. His former girlfriend Ankita Lokhande remembers him and light up an earthen lamp at her home temple. Taking to social media, she shared the photo and captioned it, “HOPE,PRAYERS AND STRENGTH !!! Keep smiling wherever you are.
For the uninitiated, Sushant and Ankita became a household name post their stint in Pavitra Rishta. In fact, the duo also fell in love on the sets and went on to date each other for six years before calling it quits in 2016. Sushant’s demise came as a shock for Ankita who was, reportedly, inconsolable. In fact, she was also seen visiting Sushant’s Mumbai residence post his funeral.
Post Sushant’s demise, Ankita had met with his father at his Mumbai residence and later travelled to Patna too.
Ankita had for the first time posted on July 14, a month after Sushant’s demise.
