Anupam Kher Comedy films are doesn’t excite me now.

Anupam Kher said that he has growing out of comedy and is enjoying doing more serious roles in this phase of his career. However, Kher said that if ‘something juicy’ is offered to him in the comedy genre, he’d love to do it. Actor Anupam Kher has been loved for his noteworthy comedy roles in films like Shah Rukh Khan‘s Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge (1995), Khosla Ka Ghosla! (2006), Dil Hai Ki Manta Nahi (1991), ChaalBaaz (1989) and etc. However, in the last few years, Kher has portrayed more serious roles and stayed away from doing comedy. When asked why he’s not doing comedy films anymore, the actor told indianexpress.com, “I have enjoyed doing mindless comedies, and I love them. I did a film recently called Shiv Shastri Balboa, which is now on one of the OTT platforms. It is like a comedy. As my mind keeps maturing, I also need to keep challenging myself. I need to feel excited. Now comedy doesn’t excite me.”
