Mumbai, India — Asia’s largest Bollywood music festival, the YES BANK Bollywood Music Project, is set to make a grand return to Mumbai for its eighth edition on October 4–5, 2025. Hosted at the iconic Jio World Garden, the two-day musical extravaganza promises an electrifying celebration of Bollywood’s rich legacy and evolving soundscape, under the evocative theme “All The Feels, All The Hits”.
The festival will feature over 30 celebrated and emerging artists across ten distinct genres, ranging from timeless classics and commercial chart-toppers to indie breakthroughs and experimental electronic fusions. With an expected footfall of more than 25,000 attendees, the event aims to deliver a genre-spanning, emotion-driven experience that encapsulates the essence of Bollywood music.
Day 1 will be headlined by Padma Shri awardee and Grammy-winning maestro Shankar Mahadevan, joined by Ehsaan Noorani and Loy Mendonsa, performing a three-hour set of iconic hits including “Dil Chahta Hai,” “Kal Ho Na Ho,” and “Tere Naina.” Farhan Akhtar and Shaan will revisit fan favorites such as “Senorita,” “Gallan Goodiyan,” and “Chaand Sifaarish,” while percussion legend Sivamani will present a fusion of konnakol, jazz, and tribal rhythms.
The lineup also includes Anu Malik reviving his ’90s classics, Baba Sehgal with his signature Bollywood rap, and performances by Kunal Ganjawala, Avinash Gupta, and the Roohaniyat ensemble led by Shaarib and Toshi. Rising talents Siddharth and Shivam Mahadevan will bring contemporary ghazals and devotional music layered over electronic textures, while Abhijeet Sawant will deliver pop-rock anthems.
Day 2 will spotlight the legendary composer duo Salim–Sulaiman Merchant, performing hits such as “Tujh Mein Rab Dikhta Hai” and “Chak De India.” Tanishk Bagchi, alongside Zarah S Khan and Asees Kaur, will energize the crowd with dance-floor anthems. Usha Uthup will add her signature jazz-disco flair, and Bismil will debut a Sufi-rock fusion set. Other featured artists include Pawandeep Rajan, Hargun Kaur, Kabir Singh, Abhay Jodhpurkar, Aflatunes, Rakesh Maini, Simran Choudhary, Farhad Bhiwandiwala, Rishabh Chaturvedi, and Khushboo Grewal.
Tickets for the six-hour daily concerts are priced between ₹1,999 and ₹12,999, available for single-day access. The festival is open to attendees aged five and above.
With its dynamic programming and diverse lineup, the Bollywood Music Project 2025 is poised to be a landmark cultural event, celebrating the emotional depth, melodic richness, and communal spirit of Bollywood music.
