Rajkumar Hirani is recently shooting for Dunki where Shah Rukh Khan is playing the lead role. The film is one of the most awaited of this year after the incredible success of SRK’s recent release and comeback film Pathaan. But even before Dunki is complete, there is already news about Hirani’s next, another biopic is coming through him after the Sanju. According to a report, this time he will present the life of former Indian cricket legend Lala Amarnath.
A publication informed, Rajkumar Hirani is planning a biopic on Lala Amarnath from 2019. In fact, it was one of the two scripts he offered to SRK, but the superstar opted for Dunki, and the biopic was shelved for now. After the release of Dunki, Hirani wants to revive Lala Amarnath’s biopic and has asked his writing team to finish the script by the end of the year. It was a story that Hirani was very passionate about and committed to start working on it only after Dunki was out of his system.
The report also states that the film will be produced under Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani’s banner Excel Entertainment.
