The actor couple, Bipasha Basu and Karan Singh Grover welcomed their baby girl Devi in November last year and since then they have been sharing snippets of their parents’ journey. Recently, Bipasha revealed a fact about her daughter’s health. In a conversation with Neha Dhupia on Instagram Live, Bipasha shared that Devi was born with two holes in her heart. Bipasha broke down when she shared how her little one had to undergo open heart surgery at the age of three months.
Bipasha Basu shared that on the third day of Devi’s birth, doctors informed her that her daughter had two holes in her heart. They were asked to do a scan every month to see if the holes were healing on their own. However, doctors warned them that because the holes were so large, it couldn’t happen on its own. They also told the parents that the best time for surgery would be when Devi was three months old.
