Swiggy an online food ordering and delivery platform has took a decision to honour ‘Biryani’ the trophy for the most ordered food item this cricket season. As per the data of swiggy over 12 million order of biryani has been booked during the cricket season.
The company announced, “biryani wins the trophy for the most ordered food item this season with over 12 million orders at 212 BPM (biryanis per minute).”
“As of March 2023, Swiggy’s food delivery business has turned profitable (after factoring in all corporate costs; excluding employee stock option costs)…Swiggy has become one of the very few global food delivery platforms to achieve profitability in less than nine years since its inception,” Majety wrote in a blog post on May 18.
