On 23rd August, India made history on 24th August, as it soft landed on the Southern Pole of the moon with the efforts and hard work of the scientists at ISRO.
The historic moment was watched by the whole nation as it is the first nation to reach the South Pole. Bollywood cheered as they celebrated this iconic feat.
Actress Alia Bhatt shared ISRO’s post on her story with a caption that read ‘and the rest is history’. Ranveer Singh, on the other hand, shared his emotions towards the occasion with a salute, teary-eyed, red heart and Indian flag emoji with Lehra Do, a song from his movie, ’83’.
Also Deepika Padukone took to Instagram and shared a post with a gif that read ‘Jai Hind’, as a proud Indian. On the other hand, Hrithik Roshan, stopped all work to watch Chandrayaan with the team of Fighter; Vishal Dadlani shared a video of the same. Riteish Deshmukh came in full support as he was seen donning an ISRO t-shirt for this momentous occasion. Arjun Rampal also took to Instagram to congratulate ISRO for taking us to the moon.
