Jailed rights activist Akhil Gogoi on Monday submitted nomination papers for the Sivasagar and Mariani Assembly constituencies from the Gauhati Medical College Hospital (GMCH). At least four persons were injured in alleged clashes between two groups in Bhainsa, a town in Telangana’s Nirmal district, on Sunday evening.
