ED Summons Bollywood celebrities on Mahadev betting case

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has summoned many bollywood celebrities under section 50 of the Prevention of Money Laundering Act, connected to Mahadev online betting app case. The celebrities are asked to appear before the agency. According to the reports, actors Ranbir Kapoor, Shraddha Kapoor, Hina Khan, Kapil Sharma, Huma Qureshi have been summoned by ED. Though there is no official statement about the case so far. Further a statement said, "The actors are only to be asked to share what they knew about the Mahadev gaming app and how they got involved in its promotion etc."
