Mumbai, August 8, 2025 — In a recent interview, celebrity chef Harsh Dixit offered a glimpse into the culinary preferences of Bollywood stars Deepika Padukone and Alia Bhatt, highlighting their distinct tastes and emotional connections with food. Known for his philosophy of “intentional food,” Dixit emphasized the importance of mindful eating and shared anecdotes from his experience serving India’s leading film personalities.
Deepika Padukone, according to Dixit, prefers her ramen “ultra-hot, extra spicy.” Her dish was prepared using Shirataki noodles, often referred to as “Miracle Noodles” due to their low-calorie content. She was offered two broth options—Tori Paitan, a rich and creamy chicken-based broth, and Shio Tare, a lighter, salt-seasoned broth. Padukone chose the spicier version and reportedly enjoyed it so much that she requested a second serving.
Alia Bhatt’s experience with ramen was more nostalgic. Dixit revealed that Bhatt associated the dish with her travel memories, describing it as a comforting reminder of places she had visited. Her ramen featured a chicken and pork base, seasoned directly in the broth—a technique Dixit has refined over the past decade, diverging from the traditional use of tare (soy or miso base).
Dixit’s concept of “intentional food” centers on being aware of what one eats, how it’s prepared, and the reasons behind those choices. He believes this approach fosters a healthier relationship with food and encourages more meaningful dining experiences.
The chef has worked with a wide range of celebrities, including Ranbir Kapoor, Nagarjuna, Janhvi Kapoor, Mahesh Babu, Athiya Shetty, Suniel Shetty, and KL Rahul. He also recalled preparing a vegan version of Vietnamese Pho for Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma’s anniversary in 2019, showcasing his adaptability to diverse dietary preferences.
On the professional front, Deepika Padukone was last seen in “Singham Again” and is set to appear in “King” alongside Shah Rukh Khan and Suhana Khan in 2026. Alia Bhatt is currently involved in upcoming projects “Alpha” and “Love & War.”
Chef Dixit’s insights not only reveal the personal tastes of Bollywood’s elite but also underscore the evolving relationship between food, memory, and wellness in the celebrity world.
