2025’s first Bollywood mega-hit, Chhaava, is breaking records left and right! Starring Vicky Kaushal and Rashmika Mandanna, this blockbuster has become Vicky’s highest-grossing film and Rashmika’s third-biggest hit. As Chhaava enters its third week, it continues to dominate the box office.
According to trade tracker Sacnilk, the film saw a stunning 65.38 percent spike in its box office collection on its third Saturday, earning a whopping Rs 21.75 crore. With a nett collection of Rs 434.25 crores in India and a global haul of Rs 566.5 crores, Chhaava is unstoppable!
Thanks to its incredible run and a lack of major releases on the horizon, Chhaava is set to outpace recent blockbusters. The film’s overall occupancy on its third Saturday was 28.86 percent, with 5616 shows across India. Chennai led the pack with a remarkable 67 percent occupancy in just 36 shows, while Pune saw 55.75 percent occupancy with 588 shows. Mumbai’s 1142 shows had a 42.25 percent occupancy, Bengaluru’s 396 shows had 37.50 percent, and Delhi NCR’s 1214 shows had 21.25 percent occupancy.
Directed by Laxman Utekar and produced by Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Films, Chhaava also features stellar performances by Divya Dutta, Ashutosh Rana, and Akshaye Khanna. Released on February 14, 2025, this film is a must-watch and continues to win hearts worldwide!
