Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar, a romantic comedy starring Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor, was only the second Hindi film of 2023—following Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan—to really draw viewers to theatres. The movie did well at the box office during its first five days of release, earning Rs. 70.24 crore. Despite a considerable decline in sales on its debut Monday, the movie nevertheless managed to bring in a respectable sum.
Around Rs 6 crore, or a 64.87% decrease, was the film’s opening-day revenue, according to industry tracker Sacnilk.
