Salman Khan’s Sikandar, released on March 30, 2025, during Eid-ul-Fitr, has had a lackluster performance at the box office in its first week. Co-starring Rashmika Mandanna, the action drama directed by AR Murugadoss has earned Rs 86.75 crore in six days. Despite high expectations, it is struggling to reach the Rs 100 crore mark and showed only minimal growth on Saturday, with a collection of Rs 3 crore.
Produced under Sajid Nadiadwala’s banner, Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment, Sikandar was expected to be a box office hit, aiming for the Rs 200 crore club. However, its performance has been underwhelming, and it is projected to close at around Rs 110 crore, marking it as one of Salman Khan’s weaker releases in recent years. The film also marks Rashmika Mandanna’s lowest grosser in two years, following her hits Animal, Pushpa 2, and Chhaava.
The film features an ensemble cast, including Sharman Joshi, Sathyaraj, Kajal Aggarwal, and Prateik Babbar, but its overall reception has failed to meet expectations, concluding its theatrical run on a modest note.
