Punjabi actor and farm activist Deep Sidhu passed away on Tuesday, February 15. The cause of death was a road accident near Delhi. His girlfriend, Reena Rai, who was in the car with him survived because of airbags. Now, she has shared a post remembering the late actor. Reena wrote a heartbreaking note, saying ‘I’m dead inside.’
“I’m broken I’m dead inside please come back to your soulmate which you promised me that you won’t leave me in any lifetime I love you my Jaan my soul boy you are my heart beat. As I was lying in the hospital bed today I heard you come whisper I love my Jaan I know you are forever with me.we were planning our future together and now you are gone. Soulmates don’t leave each other and I’ll see you on the other side Jaan #Truesoulmates (sic),” wrote Reena.
A user wrote, “We and the world stand with you…the loss u are feeling can never be quantified..cannot even imagine for a second what u must be going through right now…a true one got taken away and definitely went too soon..sending u the tightest hug.” Another commented, “I’m so sorry for your loss! May God give you the strength to deal with this and heal. You’re in our thoughts.” A comment read, “Please stay strong.”
Last year, Deep Sidhu was accused of being the key conspirator of the 2021 Red Fort violence. He was arrested in February in connection with the case. In the FIR, the Delhi Police had said that Deep Sidhu “instigated the mob not to follow the permitted route of the Kisan parade and breach barricades with tractors.”
