Deepika Padukone Makes Historic Debut as Louis Vuitton Prize Juror; Ranveer Singh Applauds with Playful Praise

Bollywood icon Deepika Padukone has added another milestone to her illustrious career by becoming the first Indian to serve as a jury member for the prestigious Louis Vuitton Prize 2025. The global fashion event, held in Paris, brought together leading designers and industry stalwarts to celebrate emerging talent in haute couture. Padukone’s inclusion on the jury marks a significant moment for Indian representation in international fashion.

The actor made a striking appearance at the event, donning a bold Louis Vuitton ensemble that blended Parisian elegance with contemporary flair. Her outfit featured an oversized silk shirt with abstract yellow and brown prints, paired with a shimmering gold mini skirt adorned with floor-length fringe detailing. She completed the look with golden stud earrings, sleek high heels, and a black handbag. Her hair was styled in a neat bun, and her makeup was kept understated, enhancing her natural grace.

Padukone shared a series of photographs from the event on social media, captioned: “Congratulations to all the winners! I cannot wait for the world to witness your magic!” The post quickly garnered attention, including a playful and affectionate comment from her husband, actor Ranveer Singh, who wrote “Hot Mama” in response.

Singh’s comment not only celebrated Padukone’s fashion-forward appearance but also reflected his ongoing public support for her professional achievements. The couple, who welcomed their daughter Dua Padukone Singh in September 2024, continue to be admired for their mutual encouragement and camaraderie.

The Louis Vuitton Prize jury for 2025 featured an elite panel including fashion luminaries such as Marc Jacobs, Stella McCartney, Nicolas Ghesquière, Phoebe Philo, Jonathan Anderson, Silvia Venturini Fendi, Nigo, and Pharrell Williams, alongside top LVMH executives Delphine Arnault, Jean-Paul Claverie, and Sidney Toledano.

On the professional front, Padukone is set to star in director Atlee’s upcoming sci-fi action thriller opposite Allu Arjun, tentatively titled AA22 x A6. Meanwhile, Singh is preparing for the release of Dhurandhar, directed by Aditya Dhar, scheduled to hit cinemas on December 6, 2025.
