Dhurandhar is on fire not just at the Indian box office, it is having an explosive run even on global screens. The Aditya Dhar directorial has become a phenomenon. It has now entered Rs 500 crore at the worldwide box office. The movie, which released on December 5, continues to smash records with every passing day. Starring Ranveer Singh, Akshaye Khanna, R. Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt, Danish Pandor, Sara Arjun, Rakesh Bedi, Gaurav Gera and Saumya Tandon, the spy thriller has turned the tables on how Bollywood makes spy films. After amassing the biggest second Saturday collection in Bollywood on December 14, it has now been declared a mega winner even outside the country. According to Jio Studios, Dhurandhar ranked No. 4 at the US box office in its Week 2. The movie, which is running across 377 screens in the US managed to pocket $3.45 million (approx Rs 31.25 crore) during the weekend.
Trade estimates state that Dhurandhar has grossed over Rs 530 crore worldwide. This combines both India and overseas collections. The movie had a bombastic Rs 270 crore opening week world over. Ever since it has refused to slow down, and its strong ripple effect is being felt even globally. And with a second-weekend surge adding Rs 80 crore, Dhurandhar has a long run.
