Ed Sheeran performs a new song at a surprise show in New Orleans

In New Orleans, singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran’s performance took his admirers by surprise. He performed “Azizam,” his new hit. The Soul Rebels brass band, who previously supported Kendrick Lamar at the Super Bowl halftime concert, quickly joined him after he brought a portable amp and microphone, according to People. The vocalist revealed to the audience that this was his first live performance of the song.

According to the outlet, Sheeran declared, “We’re going to do one song here, we’re filming a bit of content – and then we’re going to do a parade and walk down and play some songs if you want to come with us.” In a few weeks, I’ll release a brand-new song that nobody has heard yet. He went added, “We’ll play it once in a while, then we’ll go down and play some songs you know, and I’ll play this song again,” according to People.

Additionally, on February 9, the singer tried to perform a surprise street show in Bengaluru, India, but local officials put an end to it. Following the social media release of a fan-shot footage of the incident, the singer assured his followers on his Instagram Stories that everything was “all right” while outlining his interpretation of the events. Later this year, his eighth studio album, “Play,” is scheduled for release. According to People, his most recent studio album, Autumn Variations, came out in 2023.
