Emraan Hashmi and Yami Gautam’s HAQ to Be Screened at IFFI 2025

The film HAQ, starring Emraan Hashmi and Yami Gautam, has been officially selected for screening at the 56th International Film Festival of India (IFFI) in Goa. The festival, which runs from November 20 to 28, 2025, will showcase the film on November 22.

Directed by Suparn S Varma and produced by Junglee Pictures, HAQ has earned critical acclaim since its theatrical release. The film explores complex themes of religion, justice, faith, identity, liberalism, and law, with a strong focus on the Uniform Civil Code under Article 44.

The cast includes Vartika Singh, Sheeba Chaddha, and Danish Hussain, alongside Hashmi and Gautam, all of whom have been praised for their powerful performances.

The screening at IFFI is considered a prestigious recognition, highlighting the film’s cultural relevance and its ability to spark conversations on issues of justice and identity. It also marks a significant step in bringing the film to a wider international audience.
