Director Srikanth Odela, actor Nani, and producer Sudhakar Cherukuri are teaming up once again for their latest collaboration, The Paradise, following the success of the 2023 Telugu action drama Dasara. The upcoming film promises to elevate the rustic and gritty elements to new heights.
The first glimpse video of The Paradise was unveiled at AMB Cinemas in Hyderabad on Monday morning. The makers describe the video as ‘a raw statement’, and it begins with a disclaimer stating ‘raw, truth, raw language’, setting the tone for what lies ahead. A voiceover, delivered in the Telangana Telugu dialect, provides a glimpse into the story and its setting. The female narrator mentions that while history has many tales about parrots and pigeons, the crows often remain unnoticed. This film aims to tell the story of one such neglected community that has now taken up arms to reclaim their space.
The Paradise follows the journey of a rebellious man who rises to become a leader for the marginalized. The visual landscape is dark and brooding, depicting a slum littered with corpses. The video shows Nani’s character sporting double braids, showcasing his muscular physique and assertive body language. A striking tattoo, a watch strapped to his shoes, and a gun complete his look.
