A piece of special news for the audience, the 2001 blockbuster “Gadar: Ek Prem Katha”, starring Sunny Deol is set to be re-released worldwide on June 15.
According to sources, the re-release of the Deshbhaag drama is two months before the August 11 release of the much-anticipated sequel “Gadar 2: The Katha Continues”. Anil Sharm directed this film.
“I am happy that people are interested in (watching) ‘Gadar’. The way ‘Avatar’ and ‘Baahubali’ have been re-released, we will do the same with ‘Gadar’. We are in the process of making some plans for the re-release of the movie,” said Sharma.
For the sequel, both Sunny Deol and Amisha Patel will reprise their roles.
