Ram Charan and director Shankar’s Game Changer is performing average at the box office worldwide.
Despite mixed reviews, the political thriller grossed Rs 100 crore at the domestic box office. On Sankranti, the film added another Rs 10 crore to its purse on Sankranti. Game Changer released in cinemas on January 10.
Director Shankar’s Game Changer released in three languages - Telugu, Tamil and Hindi – amid huge anticipation. The film has been receiving mixed responses since day one.
According to tracking website, Saccanilk, Game Changer grossed Rs 10 crore at the domestic box office. The Day 5 collection is slightly higher than the Day 4 figures. In five days, the political thriller grossed Rs 106.15 crore in India.

With the Sankranti holiday on January 14, Game Changer saw a rise in numbers. The collections are expected to see a rise by Sunday due to the extended holiday period. On January 14, the Telugu version had a total occupancy of 36.15 per cent in India.
Game Changer is directed by director Shankar and written by Karthik Subbaraj. The political thriller, which tackles corruption and illegal mining among other social issues, stars Ram Charan in two roles – as father Appanna and son, Ram Nandan.
Apart from Charan, the film also stars Kiara Advani, SJ Suryah, Sunil, Anjali, Naveen Chandra and many others in pivotal roles. The film is produced by Sri Venkateswara Creations on a mammoth budget of Rs 450 crore.
