Prime Video has officially announced the release date for Season 2 of “Gen V”, the spin-off series from “The Boys”. The highly anticipated season will premiere on September 17, 2025, with the first three episodes debuting exclusively on the platform. Subsequent episodes will be released weekly, leading up to the season finale on October 22, 2025.
Set in Godolkin University, the new season explores the growing tensions between humans and Supes, as a mysterious new Dean introduces a power-focused curriculum. While Cate and Sam are hailed as heroes, Marie, Jordan, and Emma return to campus, struggling with trauma and loss. As they dig deeper, they uncover a long-hidden program tied to the university’s founding, which could change everything they know.
The returning cast includes Jaz Sinclair, Lizze Broadway, Maddie Phillips, Asa Germann, and Sean Patrick Thomas, with Hamish Linklater joining as Dean Cipher. The series is produced by Sony Pictures Television and Amazon MGM Studios, in collaboration with Kripke Enterprises, Point Grey Pictures, and Original Film.
