Ground Zero earns ₹6.46 crore in 5 days, struggles to gain momentum at the box office

Emraan Hashmi’s action-drama Ground Zero continues its slow climb at the Indian box office, earning ₹6.46 crore in its first five days. Directed by Tejas Prabha Vijay Deoskar, the film is based on the real-life 2003 counter-terrorism operation that led to the elimination of Ghazi Baba, the mastermind behind the 2001 Parliament and Akshardham attacks.

The movie opened with ₹1.15 crore on Friday, followed by ₹1.90 crore on Saturday and ₹2.15 crore on Sunday. However, weekday collections saw a significant dip, with the film earning ₹0.63 crore on both Monday and Tuesday. Despite positive reviews and a decent opening weekend, the film has struggled to gain momentum, raising concerns about whether it will cross the ₹10 crore mark by the end of its first week.

Emraan Hashmi’s performance as the lead has been praised by critics and audiences alike, but the film faces stiff competition from other releases. While the numbers reflect a modest performance, the gripping storyline and powerful performances have resonated with a section of the audience. The film’s journey at the box office remains uncertain as it approaches the end of its first week.
