Human-trafficking case: Daler Mehndi back in jail as appeal nixed

A courtroom in Punjab’s Patiala on Thursday upheld the two-year penal complex term of Punjabi pop singer Daler Mehndi in a 2003 human trafficking case. The singer used to be on bail as he had appealed in opposition to the trial court’s ruling in 2018.
