Actor Imran Khan recently opened up about his nerve-wracking experience hosting an award show with Ranbir Kapoor. In a cheeky admission, Imran revealed that he and Ranbir calmed their jitters by sipping on expensive vodka. During a conversation on the Moments of Silence podcast, Imran shared that the awards night was particularly stressful for him, as he was less than a year into the industry and knew that legendary figures like Amitabh Bachchan would be in the audience.
Ranbir showed up with expensive vodka after the dress rehearsal, and every time they were off stage, they took a few sips to keep their nerves in check. This helped them continue with the show more confidently. Imran hosted the Filmfare awards with Ranbir in 2009 and also reminisced about walking the ramp with Ranbir for a fashion show hosted by Karan Johar. Imran admitted that he has never been comfortable with stage shows or ramp walks, finding them harrowing compared to the confident presence of actual models.
