Mumbai, August 13, 2025 — The Sarvottam Nagrik Samman 2025, hosted by philanthropist and social activist Seema Singh, brought together a constellation of India’s most respected personalities at Hotel Sahara Star, Mumbai. The event, backed by Singh’s NGO MeghaShrey Foundation, celebrated individuals who have made transformative contributions to society across diverse fields.
The ceremony was inaugurated by Maharashtra Governor Shri C.P. Radhakrishnan, who praised the honourees for their quiet yet impactful service to the nation. BJP Mumbai President Ashish Shelar and other dignitaries also addressed the gathering, highlighting the importance of citizen-led leadership.

Seema Singh, often referred to as the “Mother of Orphans,” emphasized the deeper mission of the awards: to honour changemakers who shape communities without seeking recognition. “This platform is for those who carry the nation forward through their work—whether they are artists, scientists, social workers, or everyday citizens,” she said.
