Mohit Suri’s film Saiyaara is on track to reach the Rs 100-crore milestone in its second week of release. Due to its popularity, the film earned Rs 9.50 crore on Tuesday, the second. The second-highest grossing movie of the year, Saiyaara, made Rs 172.75 crore in its first week of release. But since its publication, it has seen a decline in earnings and a single-digit collection. At the domestic box office, it made Rs 266 crore after 12 days. Currently trailing only Chhaava, Saiyaara has surpassed the Rs 400 crore milestone worldwide.
Produced by Yash Raj Films, the film poignantly tackles love, grief, and heartbreak. Ahaan Pandey, a newbie, portrays Krish Kapoor, a struggling musician, while Aneet Padda plays Vaani Batra, a young writer with early-onset Alzheimer’s disease.
