Indian production house and a Korean firm, “Flix Oven,” sign an MOU

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed between Chennai-based production business Rise East Entertainment and Flix Oven, a well-known South Korean production company, to enable cross-cultural cinematic encounters. This news is sure to excite fans of Korean material. The collaboration between the two companies will allow Korean content to be adapted for Indian consumers while also providing new opportunities for Indian filmmakers, particularly Tamil and Pan-Indian producers, to shoot in South Korea.

Tamil audiences and viewers of digital platforms are the main consumers of South Korean dramas, web series, and films, which have become extremely popular throughout the Indian subcontinent. Rise East Entertainment and Flix Oven have partnered to produce cross-cultural film experiences in recognition of this expanding relationship. Producer Sreenidhi Sagar of Rise East Entertainment discussed the partnership, saying, “We are thrilled to work with Flix Oven.

Flix Oven and Rise East Entertainment have partnered to produce Indian language films in South Korea, with Rise East securing rights to adapt Korean content into multiple Indian languages. The partnership also aims to develop screenplays featuring Indian and Korean artists and co-produce web series, television series, and films, fostering deeper Indo-Korean cultural collaboration.
