He told that due to the long construction period, he currently lives in a small two-room flat with his wife Shabana Azmi. During the conversation he jokingly said that arguments over home decor can put a strain on his marriage but he is adept at resolving his issues.

He said that We are currently building a house in Juhu and it has been almost two years in the making. So, thankfully we have two additional small flats in the same building and we are living there. This house can pay for our marriage. We argue about home decor things like where the sofa will look best etc., but eventually we outgrow them. After half an hour of unpleasant fighting we talk normally.
