Jeet gives advice to Dev on the release of ‘Khadaan’

Christmas is coming, long holidays. On one hand, ‘Pushpa 2’ is breathing down your neck. In between, four Bengali movies are releasing at the same time. Dev’s ‘Khadaan’. Raj Chakraborty’s ‘Shontaan’. Pratim D Gupta’s ‘Chaalchitro’ and Manasi Sinha’s ‘5 No. Swapnamoy Lane’. There is already a tug of war over getting the theaters. Although Dev is ahead of the rest in this regard at the moment. ‘Khadaan’ has got the most number of theaters. Dev’s movies have already set a precedent. Dev has done what used to be done for Hindi or South movies. This is the first time that the ‘First Day First Show’ of a Bengali movie is at midnight. Jeet came to the release of Dev’s movie. There is a special request for Dev.

The audience is averse to Bengali movies. Unlike other genres, mainstream commercial movies are not able to make much of an impression at the box office. Its impact has been felt overall in the industry. This time, it seems that Dev is not making any effort to get the audience to the theaters. Dev has done other genre family films in the past. This time the actor is returning to the big screen in his own glory. Dev’s dialogue, ‘I’m busy with my family; what are you thinking, I forgot the action?’ is already viral on social media. ‘Khadaan’ has left other films behind in terms of advance bookings. Seeing Dev returning to mainstream commercial films, Jeet wrote, “Congratulations to everyone for this film. I want to see Dev in more commercial genre films.”
