Jesse Eisenberg Praises SS Rajamouli’s RRR: “Everyone Has Seen It”

Hollywood actor Jesse Eisenberg has joined the growing list of international celebrities praising Indian cinema, specifically SS Rajamouli’s global blockbuster RRR. While promoting his upcoming film Now You See Me: Now You Don’t, the third installment in the popular franchise, Eisenberg expressed admiration for the Telugu-language epic, calling it a cultural phenomenon in the United States.

In a recent interview, Eisenberg remarked, “I think every American saw RRR. It was incredible—this fascinating blend of Hollywood-style spectacle and uniquely Indian storytelling”. His comments have resonated with Indian fans and further highlighted the film’s global impact.

Eisenberg, best known for his roles in The Social Network and Zombieland, also shared that although he has never visited India, he came close during a trip to Nepal. “My favourite trip I’ve ever taken was to Nepal. Many similarities, but I did not cross the border,” he said with a smile.

RRR, directed by SS Rajamouli and starring N.T. Rama Rao Jr., Ram Charan, Alia Bhatt, and Ajay Devgn, has garnered international acclaim for its high-octane action, emotional storytelling, and visual grandeur. The film has been praised by global icons including James Cameron and has enjoyed widespread popularity on streaming platforms, particularly in the U.S.

Eisenberg’s endorsement adds to the film’s growing reputation as a crossover success that has introduced Indian cinema to new audiences worldwide.
