John Krasinski Returns to Direct ‘A Quiet Place Part III,’ Slated for July 2027 Release

Los Angeles, August 2: Paramount Pictures has officially announced the third installment of its acclaimed horror-thriller franchise, A Quiet Place Part III, with John Krasinski returning as director, writer, and producer. The film is scheduled to hit theatres on July 9, 2027, continuing the saga of survival in a world terrorized by sound-sensitive alien creatures.

Krasinski confirmed the news via Instagram on August 1, reigniting fan anticipation for the eerie, near-silent universe that has captivated audiences since 2018. While plot details remain tightly under wraps, the upcoming film is expected to delve deeper into the post-apocalyptic landscape where silence is the key to survival.

It is currently unknown whether franchise regulars Emily Blunt, Noah Jupe, and Millicent Simmonds will reprise their roles. The film will be produced under Krasinski’s Sunday Night Productions, alongside Allyson Seeger and Platinum Dunes, with Seeger’s company maintaining a first-look deal with Paramount.

The A Quiet Place franchise has grossed over $900 million worldwide across three films. The original film, released in 2018, was both a critical and commercial success, earning $341 million globally. Its sequel, A Quiet Place Part II, released in 2021 after pandemic delays, added another $297.3 million to the franchise’s haul. The 2024 spinoff, A Quiet Place: Day One, directed by Michael Sarnoski and starring Lupita Nyong’o, Joseph Quinn, and Djimon Hounsou, expanded the universe and earned $262 million globally.

With Krasinski once again at the helm, Part III promises to deliver another suspense-filled chapter in the franchise’s evolution, pushing the boundaries of sound and silence in cinematic storytelling.
