Jr NTR to Resume Shooting for ‘Dragon’ in December with Intense Action Sequences

After a three-month production hiatus, actor Jr NTR is set to resume shooting for his upcoming action drama Dragon in the first week of December. Directed by Prashanth Neel and produced by Mythri Movie Makers, the film has generated significant anticipation due to its high-octane narrative and Jr NTR’s striking physical transformation.

Originally scheduled to restart on November 19, the shoot was postponed due to logistical and production-related delays. The new schedule will commence at a specially constructed set in Ramoji Film City, Hyderabad, where Jr NTR will film intense action sequences over a 20-day period before taking a Christmas break.

Jr NTR has undergone a rigorous physical makeover for the role, sporting a lean, muscular physique and a rugged beard to match the film’s gritty tone. The transformation was achieved naturally over several months and is being closely supervised by director Prashanth Neel to align with the film’s visual style.

The December schedule is expected to run uninterrupted for three weeks, after which the team will break for the holidays and resume shooting in early January 2026. Reports suggest that subsequent portions of the film may be shot in Africa, adding an international dimension to the production.

Dragon marks the first collaboration between Jr NTR and Prashanth Neel, known for his work on the KGF franchise. The film also features Rukmini Vasanth in the lead role, with music composed by Ravi Basrur. The official title of the film is yet to be announced, but insiders confirm that it will be revealed within the next month.

With its ambitious scale, stylized action, and star power, Dragon is poised to be one of the most anticipated releases in Indian cinema. Fans are eagerly awaiting further updates as the production gains momentum.
